I'm not dead

I have half a dozen half-finished posts sitting in drafts that I need to finish. And I will! This week :) I've been to comic conventions, a body painting convention, several cities....there's a lot I need to actually post! And this is my public declaration that I'm going to actually do it!

Leaving Libraries

So, I've wanted to go to South Korea to teach English for...several years. Ever since I got out of college and didn't have a "real" job. Instead, I worked at a comic book store and then at a library. Now, those jobs were awesome, don't get me wrong, but I'm really glad that I'm finally goign to go do something I've wanted to do for years!

Now...my job doesn't start until late June, so i haven't actually started my adventure yet. But I wanted to create this so that people who wanted to keep track of me that are not my Facebook friends could (I'm talking to you, Japan day Otakus!) =D I'm aware that none of them probably think my life is that interesting, but I promised them I'd try to stay in touch.

Today is my last day working at the library, which is bittersweet. I loved working here with some really excellent coworkers, but leaving means that I"m getting ready to start something new and exciting in my life!
